Good food. Nice server with a great personality! Food was hot, delicious and delivered fresh and fast! Will return if we're ever back in Louisville, KY.

We've been here nearly a half dozen times. We drive 25 minutes just to have the most delicious meatball lasagna and because of the owner. Every time, he'll stop by the table, squeeze your shoulder and thank you for dinning with them. Not because he recognizes us, but because he just wants everyone to feel special. And it works. Plus the lasagna is amazing. He slow cooks a huge home made meatball, then slices it and layers it in the lasagna. It's impossible to describe how delicious it is.

My family, while visiting Louisville , wanted an Italian dinner. I discovered Silvio's had long history in Louisville and chose to dine there. We arrives shorly after the restaurant opened. We has the place to ourselves. In a short time the restaurant was packed as you can see in the photos. We were welcomed by the owner, Bill, who took time to chat with us, recomment a great chianti and talked a little about the evening's choices. I asked about the shrimp and polenta. Bill said I would love it because the polenta was crisped that offered a rustic take to the dish. I started with a Caesar salad that hit all the right notes ... served room temperature with crisp romaine and parm crusted crotons tossed with a wonderful dressing and shaved parm. The shrimp and polenta knocked it out of the park. The Chianti Classico was as comforting and smooth as a kiss under the Tuscan sun. Other members of the family had wonderful dinners of veal parm and the seafood pasta. Our service was spot on. Satisfied to the full, we split a serving of lemoncella cake. Silvio's is a great Italian experience. There is ample parking and the restaurant is easily accessible to those in wheelchairs.

If you are thinking about going here please go! You will not regret it. My husband & I had a date night here I got the pork chop and oh my was it to die for! Fall of the bone good! Great atmosphere! The chef/owner I think come around to every table and talked to everyone it was really nice! We’re already planning our next visit!

Great food, that marinara is AMAZING! Glad I tried Silvio's for the first time. There are not enough local Italian places in town. I will be back and I highly recommend the food! Unfortunately the service was a damper on the evening. Warm would not be the word I would use to describe our service but it's usually what I look for in a server. I had to ask for a refill on a drink even though the water at the table was refilled 3 or 4 times and never got below half. I can appreciate pre bussing a table but we were asked twice about clearing our app. The food was great but I hope I get a different server the next time.

Was traveling for a conference and we found this gem! This restaurant is like stepping into an Italian home filled with friends and neighbors. The owners are on site and make a point to be sure you are comfortable and enjoying your meal. We had the eggplant which was the best eggplant I’ve had, crispy and flavored perfectly. We asked for the spicy red sauce which was incredible! Everyone was raving about their dishes. Highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to come back! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Was a very good dining experience for the wife and I. Grilled chicken Alfredo and seafood pasta. The Calamari appetizer was among the best I've had. The service was fantastic as well and I would definitely love to return.

What a fantastic little spot for some Italian food. It was a vibrant place to have a lovely date or a night out alone or with a friend(s). My husband and I chose this place for our post-anniversary date. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with such excitement that it made us not want to leave. Every person we encountered greeted us with such enthusiasm. The food was amazing (although the pork chop was a bit too thick for my taste), everything else was delicious (I took my leftovers home and devoured them). There are a few items on the menu that we would like to try, so we will definitely be coming back. What made it even better was that we had the opportunity to meet the Head Chef. They were a very kind person. We just felt so welcomed, and the staff makes you want to come back. Highly recommend.
